Bookshelves...or 'the perks of not reading eBooks'

There's a lot to be said for kindles and eBook readers, I know, I have one which I love and cherish. But none of those perks, in my opinion, quite match up to having bookshelves full of the books you've loved and the ones you've yet to love. And yes, I may spend hours perusing pinterest looking at photos of bookshelves...what of it?

I love bookshelves too, but I also love(d) having my Kindle (before it got stolen and I'm working to replace it). The ebooks provide such a bit more convenience when reading on the go, especially when traveling because you no longer have to take up precious suitcase or carry-on space with multiple books :)

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I love my eReader - it's SO useful, especially for my uni notes and stuff. But nothing, IMO, beats having a shelf full of books :) xo louise

I love this article! My friends keep saying "get a Kindle" but I say, there is nothing like the feel of paper between my fingers when I am reading; there is no better feeling than looking at my beloved books on their shelves, by my bedside, on the coffee table, in the bathroom, on my kitchen counter. You can't do that with a Kindle!

These are gorgeous bookshelves. I have a Nook, which I've enjoyed quite a bit, but lately I've been turning to the printed versions. I love covers and flipping back to look at them from time to time when I read. I hope this is temporary, but I'm afraid the real thing will always be my favorite.

I ended up without a book while vacationing a couple of years ago. I was practically distraught until I could get to a bookstore (which was lovely and worth the trip itself). Now, my Nook always, always goes with me!

The only place you might find me reading an electronic device, would be in the wind! ღ
